More than 25 years of grape-growing
has proven the Martinborough region to be one of the premium
wine producing areas in New Zealand and looking to the future
the challenge will be to continue to produce world class wines
of the finest quality.
Burnt Spur is certainly achieving this from it’s 35 hectare
single vineyard where the approach to the wine is to give the
purest expression of the land where the vines are planted and
from the climate the vines enjoy – giving a true sense
of terroir.
Winemaker Paul Mason and his team are dedicated to the philosophy
that ‘great wines are made in the vineyard’.
